To find out whether or not a company is reliable, you will want to read reviews from other customers and run a background check, all of which -- and more -- you can learn about in our choosing a moving company guide.
Read reviews
See what other customers thought of the company you plan to hire by reading reviews from customers just like you. We have a number of reviews on our site, but a quick Google search should bring up plenty more if you can't find what you're looking for.
Do a background check
You will also want to perform a background check by perusing reviews (see above) and learning if the company is verified. For this final step we highly recommend searching for them on the following government sites:
- The Canadian Association of Movers (CAM)
- The Better Business Bureaus of Canada (BBB)
- The Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA)
