Moving Nightmare
I have worked with many different businesses in my life and this was by far my husband and I's worse experience ever. ?we originally went with Frankie's company because he came off as a family man who owned a small business, cared about his customers and gave us an upfront price for everything. This was not at all the case come moving day. He stated he would be at our house to move us at 6:30AM. So my husband and I were up earlier then that to get ready for him. He did nor show up or answer my husband's calls and text. I called from my phone (a number he did not recognize) and he answered immediately. When I asked what was going on, he told me that he would be there and would tell us then. He did not arrive until 3 hours later without a truck. He informed us that his last booking was offering $1000 a day to keep his stuff on the truck so he decided to get another truck. Apparently the other truck was stolen so they spent three hours looking for a cheap rental. I was understanding as no one can forsee a stolen truck, but then his earners came with a small truck half the size of what we were originally promised. When we told him we did not think the truck would fit everything, he assured us it would. Of course it did not. He also left and was not present for the delivery like he told us he would be. Now we had to drive up with a 4th of our belongings left behind. When I called him and told him that we did not want to pay in full when they did not complete his part especially since we need the place emptied by the end of the weekend for the final walk through he promised he would put in writing to pick it up and bring it to us this weekend. So I let it slide and paid them most of the money with a small hold until they delivered it over the weekend. Of course the weekend came and while he did pick it up from the house, he through my stuff haphazardly into a box and charged us another $200 for "packing thing" that we would have done if we got to do it all in one day. When I asked him what time he would be at our new location, he told me he only promised to pick up our stuff and not deliver it by the weekend. Over the next few days he kept telling me it would be delivered and then stating he was unable too. Every time I asked, he would either ignore me or say he was "working on it" but did not ever give me a sold date or time. This went on for 3 weeks! When I told him I would be getting a lawyer involved if I did not hear a solid plan in a few days, he said i threatened him and then proceeded to threatened me by putting all my stuff in storage and making me pick it up. I told him that this was not a treat, but fact and that he was only further breaking the contract we did not complete but paid for. He continued to give me the same answers even after I had a lawyer call him and he said he would not deliver it himself because he did not want to lose money even though this was his fault to begin with. HALF PINT DISSASTER
These people are a big disaster and left me at the last minute without a mover. The owner simply told me, sorry, I could not unload my truck on time and cannot make it. Can you imagine.
